Setting the tone for an exciting year ahead, Creative Voice Dance and Hull Dance Move Together present an evening of local talent on Sunday 28 January at Hull New Theatre. Showcasing youth dance companies from Hull and East Riding these incredible shows promise to entertain, inspire, and transport you to different worlds.
Speaking of other worlds, Bradford-born comic Billy Pearce invites us to ‘An Adult Evening’ at Hull City Hall on Thursday 16 May, for a night of comedy gold not for the faint-hearted. And the comedy continues in the Mortimer Suite on Friday 5 July as stand-up Steff Todd, creator of the online sensation Yorkshire Kardashians opens her guestlist for a night of witty routines, celebrity impressions, and a fresh take on pop culture.
Remembering the popular culture of days gone by, swing into the golden age of Hollywood with timeless sounds from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr as The Rat Pack – Live in Concert comes to Hull City Hall on Thursday 18 July. And immerse yourself in the inimitable sounds of the Starman’s immense music catalogue as Bowie Live – A Journey Through Time rocks the hall on Thursday 14 November.
