Vocal powerhouse Cassa Jackson is gearing up to release I Don’t Like It When You Talk About Her, an EP detailing her tumultuous love life – due for release on the eve of her spectacular support slot with pop royalty JLS later in the month.
Cassa and her unique brand of confessional songwriting will be unleashed during the support slot for JLS’ Hull show, at the Bonus Arena on the Wednesday 10 November.
The Beat Again Tour will be JLS’ long-awaited comeback, and will be performed in arenas the whole country over. It’s a fantastic opportunity for this young singer-songwriter to get her music heard by fans all over the UK. And they’ll be amongst the first to hear the brand new track from Cassa’s upcoming EP – I Don’t Like It When You Talk About Her.
Five tracks and a myriad of complicated and tangled up emotions later, Cassa Jackson has herself the perfect collection of soulful pop anthems detailing the plethora of feelings about the highs and lows of relationships.
The title track ‘I Don’t Like It When You Talk About Her’ is a Swift-ian boppy anthem about jealousy and possessiveness, the heartbreaking ‘Crossroad’ is a wrenching tale of decision making during big life moments, while ‘Knives’ ventures into the kind of dark pop that made Dua Lipa a global phenomenon.
It’s relatable, authentic, poetic, and catchy as hell, ready to be unleashed on the nation when she supports the almighty JLS on their #BeatAgainTour.
