Organisers of the Scandinavian Christmas Market in Hull are to hold a smaller event to give shoppers a last chance to snap up unique festive gifts and food.
A mini market will take place at the Danish Church on Saturday 2 December to welcome people who missed out on the main event, which attracted nearly 800 people.
Admission is free and items for sale will include Scandinavian style crafts, gifts and decorations as well as Danish produce including chocolates, herring and pickles. Tea, coffee and biscuits will also be available.
The event will take place from 10am until 2pm at the Danish Church on the corner of Ferensway and Osborne Street.
Charlotte Theill, Manager of the Danish Church and Nordic House, said: “We had a fantastic turnout once again for the Christmas market with people queueing down the street at one point, but we always run out of time before we run out of stock!
“We still have all sorts of lovely items for sale and the mini market will give people a chance to browse and buy without the bustle of the big crowds!”
