The 2024 UK’s Best Workplaces in Healthcare™ list was launched this morning by Great Place To Work® UK, recognising Latus Group among the list of organisations in the Large & Super Large Category.
For the past two years, Latus Group has been the fastest-growing provider in the occupational health sector, transforming organisational performance through tech-enabled, data-driven occupational health.
Responsible for more than 2,000 clients and 1.3M individual employees across the UK & Ireland, Latus Group offers the largest fleet of mobile health units in the country including the only occupational health provider to offer a mobile chest X-ray machine, giving our partners the healthcare they need, whenever they need it, wherever they are.
With a firm conviction that businesses can benefit enormously from nurturing their employees and investing in their health and wellbeing, Latus Group helps businesses reduce risks and costs associated with employee health by redistributing reactive spend to proactive spend, providing the data to improve health and business outcomes.
Jack Latus, CEO of Latus Health, said: “Our success is through our people. By building our workplace culture through camaraderie, empowering our colleagues in line with the Company values and trusting our colleagues to do the right thing…always, we will always continue to be Customer Obsessed, it has really paid off!”
Great Place To Work® UK administered their research-backed Trust Index© employee survey and analysed the responses of UK-based healthcare employees to determine the Best Workplaces™ list. The surveys asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.
Analysis of the sector employee survey responses found:
- 85% of employees at the UK’s Best Workplaces in Healthcare would “strongly endorse their company to family and friends as a great place to work” compared to a UK average for sector of 58%
- 84% of employees at the UK’s Best Workplaces in Healthcare want to work for their organisation “for a long time” compared to the UK sector average of 59%

Our inclusion in the large and super large category is testament to the team’s work to ensure that our culture was strengthened as we scaled form being a small business to a large business and not diluted, as often happens. The success of Latus Group is down to the drive and commitment of each of our people. Being part of a team of people with a strong common purpose is a great place to be, and it’s fantastic to be recognised for this by the Great Place To Work award.”
Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work® UK, said:

But the sector does come with mounting pressures which our UK’s Best Workplaces in Healthcare companies are well aware of.
