‘Like DALL-E for Apps’, February reveals its new AI-driven text into app building software

No-code app developer February has unveiled its groundbreaking artificial intelligence (AI) app creator, so simple it only needs one sentence of typed text to create an app.

Working in a similar way to DALL-E’s text into art, February’s AI uses text into app building software.

As the UK’s leading no-code app builder February builds apps across every device for every type and size of business and has been in development on its radically simple but unique and industry-shaking solution since 2020.

Ash Lewis, CEO, 27, said: “It’s like DALL-E for apps, as the February AI app creator only requires one short typed text description of what kind of app a customer wants, which is then instantly generated for them, including the full app design and features.

“We don’t know of anyone else doing this for app builds and it is an entirely new AI innovation for this market. There are other app builders in the market that claim to do the same but the build is then done by engineers taking months in development.”

The February approach allows customers to go through a check list of features that they want including design look and business sector functionality. Once customers are happy with their choice there is a paywall before they can access their finished app.

A more customised option allows customers to set up a call to talk to the February team. This call allows the team to gain more insight and detail into what they may want from their app and advise them on best practices. Customer support is available for everyone throughout the app building process.

For Ash, brother Tom, 22, and the February team, this is a launch a long time coming and which they believe will open up and disrupt the market, providing greater access and choice to customers, driven by high quality functionality and cost-effective solutions.

“This kind of AI simplicity and functionality was always our goal, a system of ownership that takes away tech barriers for the customer. It may just be a supposition, but I think with an app build it has always felt like you should have a development team on board.

“That’s no longer the case as our launch cuts right through those old assumptions because with February customers don’t need to have a development team. The AI we developed does everything for them with customer support and our development team on hand if needed.

“Tech has come so far and we can now create things very simply and cost-effectively.”

The new February tech has been created by using an artificial neural network (ANN) – using tensor flow – that allows February’s app building model to accurately cultivate app store descriptions and features.

Supported by insights from its customers, February’s AI has been thoroughly tested with a process of training and testing data sets and a goal of 99.9 per cent accuracy or higher.

“We train with 50 per cent of the data, or approximately 40,000 points, and the remaining 50 per cent – another 40,000 points – are used for testing.

“With the model developed on the training data and then evaluated on the testing data we can calculate the difference between what our model predicts and what it actually achieves. We’re aiming for 99.9 per cent accuracy or higher.”

The February AI app builder works for any size and type of business, from start ups to small, medium and large businesses and even enterprise organisations looking for bespoke one-to-one designs. Price points start from £10,000 for instant app generation, and for customers with more complex solutions, the February team are on hand to quote.

February’s new AI customer solution is dependent on its core app development which creates a user interface, user onboarding, user management, reporting management, user banning and deleting and app promotion.

The creation of February’s own software language and file type allows it to quickly transpile into other software languages using the absolute minimum of code, but code that still contains important features such as user authentication, payments, shopping, messaging and dating.

At the same time as revealing its new AI offering, February also unveiled a new branding design and look including eye-catching typography and colour palette.

“We wanted something that was serious, but playful and had a quite a different look and feel that would help set us apart in the app building market,” added Ash.
