Local mental health charity Hull and East Yorkshire Mind has been named as the official charity partner of the East Yorkshire Half Marathon and 10k, in partnership with RunThrough.
The event, which will take place on Sunday 28 April 2024, is set in the scenic and impressive grounds of Burton Constable Hall.
As part of the exciting new partnership, the charity will have half price running places for people who decide to raise much-needed funds for the charity. All money raised will help Hull and East Yorkshire Mind to support more local people who may be experiencing poor mental health. Those who sign up and fundraise for the charity will not only get a limited-edition East Yorkshire running T-shirt but also dedicated fundraising support every step of the way.
Marie-Louise, Community Fundraiser at Hull and East Yorkshire Mind, said:
“We are delighted to be the official charity partner of the RunThrough East Yorkshire Half Marathon and 10k. Here at Hull and East Yorkshire Mind, we know the positive impact that physical activity can have on our mental health. We are very excited for the new partnership and it’s great that people taking advantage of our charity places, will not only be helping themselves but also helping to change the lives of other people living in Hull and East Yorkshire.”
