Lost City Adventure Golf, based in St Stephen’s Shopping Centre in Hull, is donating £1 from each sale of its festive cocktail menu to Viking FM’s Cash for Kids Mission Christmas campaign.
Lost City’s selection of festive Christmas cocktails includes the delicious ‘Kriss Kringle’ cocktail – a mix of Bombay bramble gin, vanilla vodka, lime juice, grenadine and passionfruit – as well as the fruity mocktail ‘Jingle Juice’ – created with pineapple juice, apple juice, lemon juice and grenadine.
Last year, Cash for Kids was able to ensure 11,552 children across East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire woke up to presents on Christmas Day, thanks to the support of local businesses and individuals donating gifts and making cash donations.
Jennifer Bentley, operations director at Lost City Adventure Golf, said: “We’re so pleased to be able to support Cash for Kid’s Mission Christmas campaign for a second year.
“Everyone is feeling the pinch this Christmas, so donating £1 from each sale of our Kriss Kringle and Jingle Juice cocktails during festive celebrations makes it easier for people to help those in need.
“Our Christmas-themed cocktails went down a treat in 2021, so we’re hoping our golfer’s love this year’s inventions!”
Nikki Rhodes, Cash for Kids charity manager at Viking FM, said: “We are so grateful to Lost City Adventure Golf for its support of our Mission Christmas campaign again this year.
All the money raised will help us get a gift to a child at risk of waking up to nothing in Christmas Day. Thank you so much the team at Lost City, the cocktails sound amazing!”
Cash for Kids works with thousands of grass-root organisations across the UK that support disadvantaged children (0 – 18 years). Throughout the Mission Christmas campaign, these organisations, along with social workers, head teachers and the emergency services, nominate families in crisis to be supported by the appeal.
Across the UK in 2021, Cash for Kids collected over £21 million in gifts and cash donations, which was used to make sure that over 548,000 children and young people had presents to open on Christmas Day.
