The next instalment of Hull & East Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership’s (HEY LEP) Business Growth Hub, in partnership with Made Smarter programme, will take place this autumn.
Export 4 Manufacturing Businesses will take place on Tuesday 7 November in partnership with HEY LEP’s Business Growth Hub / HEY Made Smarter, as well as Department for Business & Trade and Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce in Hull.
It is the latest in a series of workshops aimed at business owners and/or senior staff in the manufacturing sector in Hull and the East Riding.
The Made Smarter programme will sit alongside the current suite of support already provided by the HEY LEP’s Growth Hub, including its Workforce Development support service.
It is partnered by UK Shared Prosperity Fund, Growing Places Fund and Capex Grants, as well as ICT Providers Network and HEY LEP Manufacturing Network.
Further events – Finance 4 Manufacturers and Energy Efficiency for the Manufacturers – will take place alongside partners in Hull venues.
This will be followed by the launch of specific Industry 4:0 workshops in 2024.
James Newman OBE, HEY LEP chair, said: “It is great news that HEY LEP can launch is next instalment of the Made Smarter programme.
“There have already been some tremendous success stories from Made Smarter and we look forward to welcoming key decision makers from the region’s manufacturing businesses at the upcoming workshops.”
