Nursery children spread Christmas cheer at Hull care home

Christmas came early to Elm Tree Court in Hull as children from Westside Day Nursery joined residents for a morning of festive activities.

The children joined in decorating the Christmas tree, coloured in festive pictures and sang carols, bringing plenty of Christmas cheer to the room.

The day got even more festive when one of the residents dressed up as Santa and handed out treats and drinks to the children. It added a special touch to the event, with the carol singing really helping to create a joyful Christmas atmosphere.

Kerry Moss, Manager at Elm Tree Court, said: “Having the children here today was a real treat. The excitement they brought was infectious and our residents really enjoyed spending time with them. It’s wonderful to bring generations together, especially at Christmas.”

The morning was a perfect way to celebrate the holiday season and bring the local community together, creating lasting memories for both the children and the residents at Elm Tree Court.

Jean, a resident at Elm Tree Court, said: “It was lovely to see the children so excited about Christmas. Santa’s visit was the perfect touch, and the carols really made the day feel festive. We’re so grateful for these special moments.”
