Timeless movie Dirty Dancing will feature on Saturday 31 August, whilst family favourite Jurassic Park will entertain guests on Sunday 1 September. Both events will allow its guests to enjoy a movie under the late summer sun against the backdrop of Hymers College.
Guests are welcome to bring their own chairs, blankets, picnics and drinks (alcohol also permitted) to enjoy their experience, whilst there will also be several food and drinks vendors present for guests to purchase movie treats.
Dan Clipson, Senior Fundraiser at Dove House Hospice, said: “We are very much looking forward to hosting our first ever Open Air Cinema season. It’s the perfect way to finish the summer holiday season with family, friends or colleagues by enjoying these cult classics under the stars. It’s hoped that this year’s Open Air Cinema season will raise upwards of £2,000 for Dove House Hospice, which will help us to continue to provide our care across Hull and East Yorkshire.”
Tickets are priced at £10 per adult for Dirty Dancing, whilst tickets are priced at £10 per adult and £8 per child for Jurassic Park. Tickets are available online via www.dovehouse.org.uk/dirtydancing or www.dovehouse.org.uk/jurassicpark
