Preparations are underway for the annual produce show in a Yorkshire Wolds village.
The 76th Londesborough Annual Produce Show takes place in the Concert Hall in the village on Saturday 15 July.
Organised by a committee that is chaired by farmer, Graeme Stephenson, the show boasts 98 classes that are open to residents of Londesborough, Shiptonthorpe, Burnby, Nunburnholme, Hayton, Goodmanham and Warter.
“It’s a popular show and is an important event in the village calendar. We have classes for everything from fruit and veg through flowers, cookery and preserves to handicrafts and children’s classes. We’re looking forward to receiving lots of entries,” said Mr Stephenson.
The entry fee for the adult classes is 25p and 10p for the children’s classes. Entries should be at the Concert Hall by 11am and members of the public are welcome to view the entries from 2pm. Entrance costs £1 and children are free. There will be a bring and buy stall, a raffle and Langlands will be serving teas.
