Iguana Developments is taking an innovative approach to help buyers choose a new home in Hull City Centre.
Iguana Developments is allowing buyers to try their apartment out before committing to a purchase, with a weekend sleepover for two. The developer wants to offer a taste of the full city living experience, with no obligation for prospective buyers.
Whilst lockdown restrictions delayed the official grand opening event, The Glass House in Queen’s Gardens is complete and residents have started moving in.
Charles Weeks, Sales and Marketing Manager at Iguana Developments says: “We are very proud of what we have achieved in Hull and feel confident that buyers will love living at The Glass House. Buyers deserve to get more from a viewing, we believe this unique lifestyle needs to be experienced, not just seen – two nights over a weekend will be the perfect chance to try before you buy.
“As with all of our developments, The Glass House offers so much more than bricks and mortar – residents enjoy a new style of living with the smart amenities which include; a gym, cinema, private dining room, co-working space, gaming room, concierge service and more.
“So after parking in the private garage for the weekend, guests have a short walk to all of the amazing venues, bars and restaurants that Hull has to offer – no need to queue for taxis after a night out and a bed at our city retreat awaits, when you’re ready to settle down for the night.
“Buyer feedback is very positive and so potential buyers are welcome to come and stay with us for a weekend to experience city living, Iguana style.
“Residents are from a mixed demographic; retiring couples who’ve bought an apartment at The Glass House with visiting grandchildren who think it’s so exciting to be able to watch a film in the private cinema, or having guests over for dinner in the private dining room, which makes any occasion feel special.
“We have down sizers who want a lock up and leave and a place abroad. Young professionals who work in the city centre and are able to roll out of bed without having to tackle the commuter traffic. Freelancers who use the residents workspace and 1000mb internet, and as lockdown has sadly put pressure on relationships, we have individuals that have split up with their partners – a turn-key property, furniture and all, helps to keep life simple during a difficult time.
“A rather pleasant surprise, off the back of 2017 City of Culture, we also have buyers that want a holiday home in Hull!”
Anyone who is interested in buying one of the apartments can call MyPad on 01482 342445 to arrange a sleepover weekend. The official post-lockdown launch party takes place on Thursday 24 June. Please email info@iguanadevelopments.co.uk for an invitation.
