Rural broadband provider Quickline is celebrating the festive season by giving back to its community and customers.
Quickline has launched its “12 Days of Quickmas” campaign – with prizes and giveaways including a year’s worth of free broadband up for grabs.
The East Yorkshire-based company is also engaging in a series of community events and activities in the run up to Christmas, from donating Christmas trees and decorations to delivering food parcels to food banks across its network area.
Quickline specialises in connecting rural communities with its fast, robust hybrid network of fibre and fixed wireless broadband.
In the past year alone, Quickline has connected 2,000 rural communities – transforming the internet experience for areas which have been left behind.
Julian Chalk, Head of Network Engagement and Enablement at Quickline, said: “Christmas is a season for giving back and sharing festive cheer, so this year that’s exactly what we’re doing.
“Our teams will be out and about across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire over the coming weeks, surprising some of our customers with special prizes.
“We’re also asking people to make a Christmas wish to Quickline, and we’ll make many of them come true.”
Quickline’s 12 Days of Quickmas are:
- Twelve months of Netflix
- Eleven Quickmas wishes
- Ten Quickmas dinners
- Nine wireless chargers
- Eight Quickmas crackers
- Seven trees with tinsel
- Six Christmas hampers
- Five Gold Qs
- Four Santa’s grottos
- Three iPads
- Two Christmas markets
- A year of broadband for free
As part of the campaign, Quickline will be delivering food parcels to food banks across its area, working with its own engagement team to identify the areas most in need of help this Christmas.
Quickline is also donating Christmas trees, complete with decorations and lights, to seven community projects.
Other initiatives include giving families the chance to meet Father Christmas in his grotto.
On the eighth day of Christmas, Quickline engineers surprised customers at their home with giant crackers to pull.
Five lucky customers have also received a Gold Q – hand-delivered by Quickline with a special prize of free broadband for six months.
For those with a Christmas wish this year, Quickline is making eleven come true. Quickline is asking its customers to make their wish to Quickline via Facebook and Instagram on Sunday 11th December.
Julian said: “Whether we’re installing our fast, reliable broadband or spreading festive cheer, we put customers first in everything we do.
“Head over to our website to find out everything we’re doing at Quickline this Christmas.”
