Songwriter Andrew Thomas to release his new single ‘Until Tomorrow’ on Friday 17 June

Taken from the album “Backs Against the Wall”, ‘Until Tomorrow’ is the follow-up to Thomas’ last single, ‘Goodbye (to life on the inside)’.

Speaking on the IO Music Group podcast over on Patreon, Andrew said: “Until Tomorrow is a song written about my insecurities. It’s about your lover or partner leaving home and dealing with the worry, that they may not return. In the song this is how it plays out, and writing it really helped me deal with some of my insecurities.”

‘Until Tomorrow’ sees Andrew Thomas draw upon some of his American country/soul influences for the arrangement.

“For this song I wanted to capture some of the sounds that influenced me more recently. I’ve been listening to a lot of American music such as Simon & Garfunkel, Eagles, Jamestown Revival, CSNY, Don McLean, James Taylor, Glen Campbell. I wanted to embrace that style of music.”

For this track, Thomas again reached out to producer Mikey Scott in Canada. The pair worked remotely in their own studios, bringing the song together from different continents.

‘Until Tomorrow’ by Andrew Thomas is available from Friday 17 June on all platforms. You can listen to the IOMG Podcast here.
