February is National Healthy Heart Month, a time to raise awareness about heart diseases and encourage people to look after their hearts. The information that is being shared throughout this month helps people understand how to keep healthy and stay informed about the risks of heart-related conditions.
The heart is responsible for pumping blood around our body, transporting oxygen and cells to our other organs, so it’s important that we stay aware and make the right choices to keep our hearts happy and healthy.
Making good lifestyle choices is the best way to improve your heart’s health and stay healthy.
Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust’s Your Health service believes that everyone should have the opportunity to seek support for their health and wellbeing.
If you are an adult in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, who is looking for advice and guidance on how to improve your health and wellbeing, there are teams in your local community who are ready to support you.
