Pulses will be racing, toes a-tapping and funny bones tickled as Hull City Hall welcomes beautiful burlesque and brazen brass next year.
A Valentine’s treat is in store when An Evening of Burlesque blends stylish cabaret, comedy, music, circus and burlesque for a scintillating night of sparkling entertainment on 14 February 2024.
It will be cabaret o’clock with the UK’s longest-running burlesque show featuring world-class entertainers and stars of the stage and screen – prepare for an extravaganza of glitz and glamour.
Expect fun, feathers and fabulous costumes from the finest selection of specialty artistes, cabaret and circus stars, comedians, and champagne showgirls.
From burlesque to brass as comedy band the Horne Section tune up their instruments and return to Hull City Hall on 12 September 2024.
Unruly, ridiculous, and surprisingly satisfying, the Horne Section’s Hit Show! includes five outstanding musicians and features Alex Horne, the creator and co-host of the BAFTA and National Comedy Award winning show Taskmaster.
There’ll be comedy, songs, enthusiastic dancing, and a lot of mucking about from the sextet who have made appearances on The Last Leg (Channel 4) and Peter Crouch’s Year – Late Euros (BBC One), and are Dictionary Corner regulars on 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and the only band to ever host Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
