Trinity Scout Group seeks new volunteers for exciting adventures ahead

Trinity Scout Group, a growing Scout Group in our local community, is on the lookout for new members and volunteers to join them on their adventure. With a proud history of delivering skills for life, teamwork, and resilience in young people, the group is eager to expand its volunteer base and engage in more adventurous activities in the coming year.

Established nearly 100 years ago, the Trinity Scout Group has been a beacon for youth development in Hull. It offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for girls and boys aged 4-18, with Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers sections tailored to different age groups. The group provides a unique opportunity for young people to develop valuable life skills, build confidence, and make lifelong friends, all while having fun.

Why join Trinity Scout Group?

Trinity Scouts is more than just an organisation – it’s a pathway to adventure. Members enjoy a wide range of activities, from camping and hiking to community service and skill-building sessions. The group also places a strong emphasis on outdoor adventures, with plans to introduce more challenging expeditions and camping trips in the near future. Whether it’s learning to navigate the great outdoors, building a raft, or exploring new places, there is always something exciting on the horizon for our Scouts.

Volunteers needed

To support its growing membership and ambitious plans, Trinity Scout Group is also calling on local adults to volunteer. Whether you’re a former Scout, a parent, or simply someone who loves the outdoors and wants to give back to the community, your help is invaluable. Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles, from assisting with weekly meetings to leading activities and supporting young people. No prior experience is necessary, just a passion for helping the next generation thrive.

Group Lead Volunteer, Joe, shared his vision for the future: “We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved so far, but we know there’s so much more we can do. With more members and volunteers, we can offer even more opportunities for our young people to challenge themselves and grow. The Scouts is all about preparing for life, and we believe everyone should have the chance to be a part of that.”
