East Yorkshire property management company, Ultralets, is pleased to announce that it has successfully achieved Cyber Essentials accreditation. This prestigious certification demonstrates the company’s dedication to protecting its customers’ data and upholding the highest standards of cyber security.

Cyber Essentials is a government-backed certification scheme that validates a company’s commitment to implementing essential security controls to protect against common cyber threats. By achieving this accreditation, Ultralets has proven its adherence to a rigorous set of security standards, providing customers with peace of mind knowing their data is safeguarded.
Managing Director, Spencer Wood, comments: “We’ve always had a keen eye fixed on the ever-developing digital landscape since we were first established, 15 years ago.
Technology has advanced since our doors first opened, but our commitment to digital security for our clients has always remained. We believe that taking steps to protect customers’ data should be essential, particularly within the property industry where a large amount of information and transactions between tenants and landlords are handled.
We’ve remained conscious of our duty to ensure a safe digital environment for our clients with significant investment in internal hardware and software. Our IT support and digital development is handled by our IT Project Manager, Ollie Potten, who has been the driving force behind securing Cyber Essentials accreditation.”
IT Project Manager, Ollie Potten, continues: “Achieving Cyber Essentials accreditation is a significant milestone that reinforces our dedication to data protection and demonstrates our commitment to investing in robust security measures.
Our clients can trust that their information is in safe hands with a Cyber Essentials-certified partner, knowing their data is protected. Our certification mitigates the risk of cyber attacks, safeguarding our customers’ interests within our systems.”
The accreditation process involved a thorough audit of Ultralet’s security practices and procedures, ensuring that the company meets the stringent requirements set by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). The certification highlights the company’s investment in cyber security infrastructure, policies, and employee training.
