Wren, the UK’s number one kitchen retailer and fitted bedroom specialist, is proud to be supporting its local Barton Food Bank.
Wren, based on Falkland Way, Barton-upon-Humber, donated the much-needed cash and a new timber worktop for Barton’s new food bank building.
“Wren has been fantastic, their generous donation towards our new building has made all the difference, we now have one central location and we no longer have to store things in our own bedrooms and garages! Having built a great relationship with Wren, we know we can call on them and appreciate their ongoing help and support whenever we need them. Everyone at the food bank is delighted they came to our rescue as without Wren our new facility would not have been possible.” Said Margaret, chair of The Barton Food Bank.
The Barton Food Bank launched in 2010 before it became a recognised charity in 2022. The Food Bank’s aims are to relieve poverty and/or financial hardship in the Barton-upon-Humber and surrounding areas by providing food, essential toiletries and household items to individuals and families in times of need. The food bank also provides much needed advice and support, referring clients to the best sources information and other helpful, advisory services.
