The school holidays are fast approaching and William’s Den has revealed plans for its Wild West-themed summer. Every day from Monday 22 July to Monday 2 September, William’s Den will open for summer holiday adventures, with a whole heap of all-weather activities to make it a day out to remember for little cowboys and cowgirls.
STRAW BALE MAZE
The Den’s straw bales are back by popular demand, bigger and better than previous years. Navigate your way to frontier freedom through the winding country bale maze.
WILLIAM’S WESTERN TRACTOR TOUR
Tractors are William’s transport of choice, visitors can upgrade their tickets to join him to take a ride on the new Wolds Way Express for a fun tour of the ranch.
OUTLAW’S TREASURE TRAIL
This ain’t Texas, it’s East Yorkshire! Follow the riddles dotted throughout William’s Wild West Woodland, with a little reward for everyone who finishes.
DAILY HOEDOWN DISCO
Line dancing shoes at the ready for a Daily Den Disco of country music tunes, we’ll be looking for East Yorkshire’s next Dolly Parton with prizes for the best moves.
FAMILY CHALLENGES
The Den’s Play Pioneers will be hosting a range of family challenges to get everyone involved. Let your competitive side out by taking part in Wild West Welly Wanging, Water Fights, Tin Can Alley Shootout, Panning for Gold and Hobby Horse riding!
PLAY & EAT
Alongside the special western activities, all guests can enjoy unlimited indoor and outdoor play at the Den. Our amazing playscape, made from natural wood and inspired by the outside world – has webs to climb, rope bridges to tackle, musical instruments to play, tree house hidey holes, huge sandpits, and an indoor stream and rainmaker so you can spend hours making adventures. Plus enjoy delicious, locally-sourced food and drink at the restaurant, coffee shop and ice-cream parlour.
