A Hull accountancy practice is pledging support to some of the region’s most disadvantaged families by becoming patron of a Yorkshire’s children’s charity.
TaxAssist Accountants, which has offices in Hull and Beverley, has announced its patronage of The Principle Trust, which provides respite breaks to children who are underprivileged, disadvantaged, disabled, have life-limiting conditions, or who have experienced poverty, trauma or abuse.
From its offices in Spring Bank West, the Hull office serves a diverse range of over 500 corporate and individual clients based in and around the city. The Beverley office, which is based at Grovehill Road, manages a 300 strong client base.
Both branches are owned and managed by Tony Hall, whose 25-year career spans senior accountancy positions in Leeds, London and Bermuda. With over a dozen offices in the Yorkshire region and more than 400 locations nationwide, TaxAssist is one of the country’s leading accountancy firms.
Making the announcement Mr. Hall said: “We are pleased to be joining The Principle Trust as patrons and are proud to support their work helping some of the region’s most disadvantaged families to escape their everyday troubles and create valuable, happy memories.”
The Trust’s Community Engagement and Marketing Manager, Kerry Magson, commented: “We are delighted to welcome TaxAssist Hull and Beverley as patrons. Thanks to the support of businesses like TaxAssist, we can continue to support families from Hull, East Yorkshire and the wider Yorkshire region.”
Established in 2011, The Principle Trust has provided respite breaks for 5000 children across the Yorkshire region. The Trust is currently working to raise £65,000 for a seventh holiday home on Yorkshire’s east coast. For more information, visit www.theprincipletrust.co.uk
