Think it’s too early to talk about Christmas? Think again!

Visitors to last weekend’s Big Malarkey Festival really entered into the festive spirit as the cast of this year’s Hull New Theatre pantomime, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, took over the Big Top.
Young fans were treated to a dance masterclass from Strictly Come Dancing’s Brendan Cole, while Hull panto darling Neil Hurst and the Jack of all dames Mr Land Noble, showcased their funny bones with a series of panto puns. The crowds were also introduced to Goldilocks herself, Sheri Lineham, and there was plenty of barefaced cheek from the three bears.
The stars were on site to promote the region’s largest pantomime, taking part in a range of circus skills courtesy of Tit For Tat, juggling, spinning plates and hula-hooping in the afternoon sun.
The event marked the first time that Hull New Theatre and the Big Malarkey Festival have teamed up to showcase the wealth of entertainment the city has to offer.
Goldilocks and the Three Bears is at Hull New Theatre from 11 – 31 December. Tickets are on sale now. Book at the Hull City Hall Box Office, call 01482 300 306 or visit www.hulltheatres.co.uk
