Reviews of their live shows and early features from BBC Radio Humberside only have positive things to say about the duo.

Alan Raw of BBC Introducing Humberside said: “They are very accomplished, very, very talented fellas, great guitarists and great songwriters! And because they are brothers, they have that energy between them that works really, really well!”

David Burns of BBC Introducing Humberside said: “Excellent, bit of a country tinge with lovely harmonies.”

Ben and Sam recently featured in a podcast on their label’s Patreon page (IO Music Group) and discussed their inspiration for their new single.

Ben Arkut said: “We’re a country duo and got inspired by country music when attending Country to Country music festival in London. The beautiful guitars and harmonies blew us away. We came home and started working on country music together.”

Sam Arkut added: “The single is called ‘Fine’ and written about mental health. We wanted a positive country vibe with a message saying things will be fine. It’s about pushing forward through those dark days and not letting it stop you from doing what you want to do.”

The single and album have been produced by local songwriter and producer John Cox. Ben and Sam thanked John for his work on this project, calling him a “wizard”.

“Fine” by The Arkut Brothers is available on all digital streaming platforms on Friday 27 May.
