Hotly-anticipated Casa Peri Peri has opened its doors at Beverley’s Flemingate centre, bringing a tangy taste of Portugal to diners in the East Yorkshire town.
The restaurant’s menu promises a feast of favourites including mixed grill sharing platters, burgers, wraps and perfectly seasoned chicken, all infused with a signature peri peri zest.
The new restaurant brings to Flemingate authentic peri peri flavours. The sauce was originally produced by the Portuguese in Southern Africa and has since become a popular global cuisine flavour.
The opening enhances the dining options at Flemingate as the centre continues to grow as a retail and leisure destination.
David Donkin, Property Director of Hull-based property development and management business Wykeland Group, which owns and operates Flemingate, said: “Casa Peri Peri is a perfect fit for Flemingate. We’ve been following the restaurant’s fit-out closely we’re incredibly impressed with the end result – it looks amazing.
“We’d like to congratulate the team at Casa Peri Peri on the opening and we look forward to sampling the menu ourselves!”
Zac Issak, owner of The Dabangg Group and the new Casa Peri Peri at Flemingate, said: “We’re delighted to welcome guests to Casa Peri Peri and we couldn’t be happier with how the restaurant has turned out. We’re proud to bring our punchy Portuguese flavours to Beverley.
“Having been part of Flemingate’s dining scene with our sister restaurant, Estábulo, we’re confident that Casa Peri Peri will become a favourite for everyone from families to foodies looking for something new.”
The Dabangg Group is a growing Yorkshire-based hospitality business boasting an eclectic portfolio of dining venues including the original Casa Peri Peri in Wakefield; Japanese/Brazilian tapas restaurant SakkuSamba; British brasserie Fléur Restaurant; and IKARO, a high-end restaurant and late-night bar in Manchester.
