Hull-based business Eco Group is running a non-profit campaign to help keep people warm and safe by providing free plumbing, heating and electrical maintenance support.

Sarah Angus, Director at Eco Group, said: “We believe that no household should have to avoid maintaining their boiler or electrics at any time of year due to financial challenges as a consequence of situations out of their control. That’s why we have launched a non-profit project where we are offering free support for home plumbing, heating and electrical maintenance in Hull and surrounding villages.
“We want to help those who may be struggling to keep up with maintenance costs through no fault of their own. This may be families or individuals who are experiencing illness, injury, bereavement or redundancy. Individuals can simply fill in an online form and their application will be treated with care and discretion. Nominations can also be submitted with knowledge or anonymously. “
