East Yorkshire holiday home manufacturer bucks industry downturn as sales surge.

Luxury holiday home manufacturer Victory Leisure Homes has reported a strong first half of the year, celebrating a significant market share increase, showground expansion and an order book that’s nearly doubled in volume.
Victory employs more than 250 people across its Hull manufacturing base and headquarters, as well as its showground in Gilberdyke. The company has increased its workforce by more than 90% over the past 18 months and is currently recruiting across all areas of production at its manufacturing site to meet increased demand.
The UK’s leading luxury holiday homes manufacturer saw its market share increase to 19.1% in July – an 8.7% increase on the same period last year and its highest yet. This comes alongside a strong sales month for Victory, with 62% more units overall despatched in July than the previous year. Despatches of Victory holiday lodges more than doubled, rising 108%. At the same time, the overall market saw despatches fall 12%.
Victory’s growth has been underpinned by a renewed focus on customer experience, reflected in a dramatic rise in its Trustpilot score from 2.9 to 4.8 over the past year.
Gary Corlyon, managing director at Victory, explains why the brand is seeing such success: “Our dynamic, agile approach to manufacturing and customer relations has meant we could outperform and build on the successes we’ve experienced over the last decade and a half in business.”
This year, Victory introduced 10 new show homes to its showground in Gilberdyke, East Yorkshire. This brings its total to 25, representing a 67% increase on last year. In addition, it has launched five new models for the 2027 season.
Gary continued: “We’re incredibly proud that this growth is happening here in East Yorkshire. We have a hugely skilled team in Hull and we’re continuing to invest in the business and in our site – with jobs across all skill levels available that come with good progression opportunities and training.
“We’ve placed a real focus on strengthening our lodge collection this year, introducing new designs and features that respond directly to the needs of holiday park operators and homeowners.
“A key part of this has been developing our most affordable lodge to date, the Wisteria, without compromising on the design, quality and attention to detail people expect from Victory. It gives holiday parks greater flexibility to expand their lodge offering, appeal to a broader range of customers and achieve a stronger return on investment.
“This focus has clearly resonated with our customers, as we’ve despatched over double the number of lodges in the first half of this year, compared with the same period last year.
“We pride ourselves on the strength of the relationships we have built with some of the UK’s largest holiday park operators, as well as the loyal community of Victory homeowners that has grown over the years.
“We’re excited for what’s to come for Victory, as we continue to create memorable holiday experiences for families across the UK.”
Victory will be hosting its annual Garden Party on 8th September to showcase its latest lodges and holiday homes, alongside its sister brand, Prestige Homeseeker. The event – being held at the East Yorkshire showground – will bring together industry professionals, homeowners and media; all of whom will get exclusive first looks and the opportunity to learn more about the design and development of the collections.
