Hull Careers Fair takes place at the DoubleTree by Hilton (Ferensway, HU2 8NH) on Friday 30th August from 10am until 2pm. The event is a fantastic way for jobseekers to discover exciting new career paths and explore current vacancies available in the region.
Local business PEMEC will have a stand at the event, hosted by Tatiana Liptakova, Recruitment and Finance Assistant, and Maciee Harvey-McGowan, Apprentice Business Administrator. Together they will chat with visitors about ways to engage with the company, from placements, apprenticeships, supply work and full-time roles to service delivery and opportunities for business collaboration.
There are two sides to PEMEC – engineering and recruitment. From an engineering perspective, the team provides project management, process pipework, fabrication and installation, plant and equipment installation, maintenance, turnarounds and shutdowns, SHEQ management, and the full range of duties of a CDM Principal Contractor. On the recruitment side, PEMEC specialises in helping businesses to hire the right people for a wide range of responsibilities and specialisms, including engineering, energy, construction, property, technology, manufacturing, marketing, procurement, sales, accountancy, finance, administration, business support, and management roles.
