Renowned Rugby League club Hull KR is excited to announce a new multi-year deal with The One Point, an award-winning IT Support firm.
The Hull-based managed technology company will become a Platinum Partner at the Robins for the next three seasons and the exclusive, naming rights sponsor for the Roger Millward West Stand.
Founded in 2005 by CEO, Martin Lauer, The One Point delivers unrivalled tech and IT support for businesses, organisations and practices through their dedicated team across the private, public and third sectors.
Their first association with the Robins began in 2008 with the sponsorship of former player Clint Newton and grew to lead on innovative product launches like the first iteration of Hull KR TV, which was a Royal Television Society Award finalist. They also launched a text service for supporters called ‘Red Alerts’.
Hull KR Chief Executive, Paul Lakin, is delighted to welcome The One Point back to the Robins family: “We’re delighted to announce a new multi-year partnership with The One Point.
“It has been wonderful to work with Martin and his team again after so many years. We recently transitioned all our IT services to The One Point. The level of service was first-class, and the whole transition was seamless. We are looking forward to growing the relationship over the next three years ahead of an exciting period for the club and Rugby League as a whole.”
Alongside delivering their managed technology services as part of the partnership, The One Point branding will be visible across The Roger Millward West Stand at Sewell Group Craven Park.
The One Point CEO Martin Lauer, said: “When Paul Lakin got in touch with me again, it wasn’t a question of ‘if’ we would do something, it was ‘what’ and ‘how we could add value’. It has been truly fantastic to see the progress that club has been making in recent years and we are so proud to be associated with the progress once again.”
