Interweave announce new suppliers for services

Interweave, part of Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, have announced the outcome of their recent procurement of suppliers to deliver products and services.

The result strengthens the Interweave core principle of providing a vendor agnostic technology platform and welcomes new suppliers subject to contract.

Following a robust procurement process the preferred bidders were selected for different ‘Lots’, each of which cover specialised areas of the platform.

Lot 1 was for Interweave Exchange and Interweave Connect, which represents the data aggregation platform and messaging tool. The successful supplier chosen for this was Aire Logic.

Lot 2 covers the Interweave Portal, or presentation layer, with the successful supplier announced as Synanetics.

Lot 3 was the Infrastructure, the supporting cloud platform, and the successful supplier for this element was GCI.

Lot 4 was Care Planning which is a new capability being funded by West Yorkshire ICB for its initial implementation to support enhanced neighbourhood working. The successful supplier for this lot was Black Pear.

During the onboarding process of the new suppliers, the incumbent supplier Synanetics will retain responsibility for service delivery to ensure a smooth transition and protect service continuity.

Ian Clucas, Deputy Chief Information Officer, said: “This procurement marks an important milestone in the next phase of Interweave’s development. By bringing together a group of specialist suppliers, we’re strengthening the platform’s foundations and ensuring it remains responsive to the needs of our partners and the populations they serve.”

The move to a multi-supplier model has been welcomed and each supplier has expressed a willingness to work together. This close collaboration will ensure the Interweave programme is delivered in a strategic and focused way.
