Marvellous music and magical mysteries at Hull Theatres

A terrific trio of shows heads to Hull Theatres next year, including a tribute to one of rock’s greatest icons, a duelling piano showdown and an adventure into a mystical temple.

Celebrating the music of the legendary Rod Stewart, Some Guys Have All The Luck – The Rod Stewart Story returns to Hull City Hall on 19 April 2024. Direct from the West End, this tribute show honours the career of Rod and his incredible journey from street busker to international superstar. It features songs from his time with The Faces as well as classic hits including Maggie May, Baby Jane, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy, Sailing and You’re in My Heart.

Over at Hull New Theatre, Two Pianos – The Rock ‘n’ Roll Experience take audiences on a thrilling journey through the history of rock ‘n’ roll music on 27 July 2024. Showcasing the talents of two of the most accomplished and experienced pianists in the genre, Hull’s own David Barton and Al Kilvo create an unforgettable experience with classics from the likes of Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Ray Charles and more.

From music to mysteries, the stars of CBBC’s Danny and Mick head to Hull City Hall on 26 October 2024 with an exciting new adventure, CBBC’s Danny and Mick in The Temple of Delusion.  In a faraway land that time forgot, the ancient treasures, mysteries, and magic of an old and forgotten civilisation lay in hiding for only the bravest explorers to find. This adventure of mistakes, pitfalls and danger is perfect for children of all ages.
