This summer will see hundreds of walkers dig out their walking boots to tackle 10.5 miles of East Yorkshire’s beautiful countryside, historic market areas, former rail trails and medieval villages as part of the annual Pub to Pub Walk hosted by Dove House Hospice.

Taking place on Saturday 9th August with a point to point route that starts at The Potting Shed in Beverley, before finishing in FIREPIT at Flemingate Shopping Centre, the route will see participants call in for a well-deserved refreshment stop at: The Potting Shed, The Highfield, The Hayride, The Bay Horse in Cherry Burton, Molescroft Inn in Molescroft and the Rose & Crown in Beverley before finishing at FIREPIT in Flemingate Shopping Centre.
Dan Clipson, Senior Fundraiser at Dove House Hospice said, “We are delighted that our Pub to Pub Walk will return this summer, having raised almost £20,000 for the hospice and other local causes in 2024. Support from the community is of huge importance to causes across Hull and East Yorkshire and it is hoped that the event raises more than £20,000 locally once again as walkers challenge themselves and have lots of fun at the same time”.
Charities signed up to take part are Dove House Hospice, RSPCA Hull and East Riding, Fitmums and Friends, HER Breast Friends and Special Stars Foundation.
Registration is £20 and each cause asks participants to raise at least £25 in additional sponsorship. Registration includes a branded Pub to Pub Walk T-shirt for you to wear on the day, along with a keepsake upon completion of your walk.
