Local housebuilder, Barratt Homes Yorkshire East is helping Santa deliver festive cheer in Brough this Christmas, by giving away ‘magic keys’ for children without chimneys to their homes.
As all the new homes at Harrier Chase in Brough are chimney free, Barratt Homes have delivered special ‘magical keys’ to children who are living on and around the development. This will help make Santa’s job a little easier when delivering some seasonal magic, despite not using his traditional entrance way this Christmas.
More than 150 parents and their children at Harrier Chase were treated to the very special delivery of ‘magic keys’ on Monday 11 December, where Santa’s reindeer, Olaf and Sven, provided the children their ‘magic key’ ready for Christmas Eve.
Leonna Hardcastle, Sales Manager at Barratt Homes Yorkshire East said: “We want to ensure that every child knows Santa can reach them this Christmas Eve, including the children who live in houses without working chimneys and fireplaces, like at our new homes at Harrier Chase.
“We were so pleased to see so many children at Harrier Chase coming out to welcome Olaf and Sven to the development and collect their magic keys, so they can get ready to welcome Santa on Christmas Day.”
Harrier Chase is open from 12:30pm to 5:30pm Monday and 10am to 5:30pm from Thursday to Sunday. The development is a community of two three and four bedroom homes in a scenic location close to the Humber Estuary. Homes are available to purchase from £270,000.
Barratt Developments Yorkshire East is also set to launch brand-new developments’ Hawk View and Stirling Park close to Harrier Chase in 2024, which will both include energy-efficient two, three and four bedroom homes.
