During the full month of January, local charity Dove House Hospice are running a sale with up to 20% off the registration price for multiple events across the year.
Make sure to sign up for these events during January and save money whilst supporting your local hospice. Events raise an incredible amount of money for Dove House – without the support from participants who register, take part and fundraise, they wouldn’t be able to provide vital care for patients as well as families across Hull and East Yorkshire.
There’s something for everyone. Enjoy getting out in the fresh air and having a laugh at Get Caked, East Yorkshire’s muddiest obstacle course in April, or if you’re an avid cycler and looking for your next challenge, look no further and join the Coast to Coast Cycle in September. Could you challenge yourself to walk across hot coals and broken glass in October and raise vital funds for the hospice with every step you take? Or join Team Dove House for a fantastic opportunity to experience a trek in the Sahara desert, thousands of miles away from daily life in the UK in November.
Vikki, Events & Individual Challenge Fundraiser at Dove House, had this to say: “We rely on our local community to help us raise the money we need to care for our patients and their families, and taking part in events like Get Caked is a great way to support us. We continually try to make the event a little muddier every year! Not only is it a muddy fun day out with friends but you can celebrate on the finish line with a medal and a cupcake!”
Sarah, who took part in last year’s Get Caked event, shared this: “Get Caked was definitely the muddiest and wettest challenge I’ve ever done! But it was also the most fun! It was great to have fun with friends whilst also raising money for Dove House. We will definitely be signing up for the next one.”
