The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra returns to Hull City Hall in Classics Series

As part of its continued commitment to bring world-class performers to the city, Hull City Hall has announced the line up for its upcoming season of classical concerts and lunchtime organ showcases.

Welcoming back series partners the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Hull Philharmonic Orchestra alongside first time visitors the Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, this season promises a series of extraordinary concerts featuring leading orchestras, virtuosic soloists, and esteemed conductors from around the globe.

Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra

  • Programme: Rossini’s The Thieving Magpie Overture, Elgar’s Cello Concerto, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2, and Dvořák’s Slavonic Dances.

Film Gala with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

Hull Philharmonic Orchestra – Heroes and Villains

The Classics’ Series is on sale to subscribers from Friday 14 June at 10am and on general sale from Friday 21 June at 10am.

Meanwhile, the Lunchtime Organ Showcases will return on Wednesday 25 September with Beverley Minster Director of Music Robert Poyser. They are then monthly thereafter throughout the autumn-winter season and go on general sale from Friday 21 June at 10am.
