There’s a ghost ‘pottering about’ in the house

That famous pottery scene from the ’90s hit film Ghost will be recreated live on stage when Ghost The Musical wheels into Hull New Theatre next year from 29 April to 3 May.

Based on the Oscar-winning silver screen blockbuster, starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, and Whoopi Goldberg, the plot follows Sam and Molly, a couple deeply in love, whose lives are shattered when – spoiler alert! – Sam is tragically murdered as they walk to their apartment late one night.

Molly is left alone, in despair and utterly lost. But with the help of a phony storefront psychic, Sam, trapped between this world and the next, tries to communicate with Molly in the hope of saving her from grave danger…

This romantic musical, adapted by Bruce Joel Rubin, who also wrote the screenplay for the film, includes a sumptuous score featuring the iconic The Righteous Brothers’ Unchained Melody alongside amazing songs co-written by Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart.

Bringing to life the timeless romance and supernatural thrills of the iconic film, this show will capture the heart and keep audiences fired up throughout.
