Yorkshire coast brewery wins Scarborough business excellence award

The team at a Yorkshire coast brewery is celebrating its success at the 9th annual Scarborough News Excellence in Business awards.

Wold Top Brewery was announced the winner in the new Rural Business category at an awards ceremony held at The Scarborough Spa last week.

“We’re proud that our rural business employs 18 local people and has been brewing award-winning beer from homegrown cereals for 20 years. Winning this prestigious Scarborough News award is a fitting way to finish our anniversary year,” said brand ambassador, Jo Ward who received the award with colleague, Alex Gill.

Farm-based Wold Top brews cask, keg and bottled ales from home and Wolds grown malting barley, hops and pure, chalk-filtered Yorkshire Wolds water.
