Global Humber Tech Event back in November for its 3rd year

GBE Connect today announced that Tech Week Humber is back for 2021.

The successful event will be back later in the year from 8-12 November. Last year the event attracted nearly 3,000 attendees and reached over 4.5million from over 48 countries.

Tech Week Humber aims to highlight the Humber as a location for technology and innovation whilst promoting tech skills. This year the event will be hybrid with a physical and virtual aspect, bringing the best of both worlds together to a global audience.

Antonio Tombanane, the founder, quoted: “We are delighted to be launching our event as part of Humber Business Week. We have some of the world’s largest tech companies coming to our region and looking to collaborate with our fantastic tech community.”

The Humber region has seen an unprecedented amount of investment in tech recently. A top example is Connexin’s £80m investment from Whitehelm Capital, taking Hull to the first spot of northern cities with most tech investment.

Hull City Council is a founding partner of Tech Week Humber and returns this year as one of the headline partners. Hull as a city has been working on some exciting Smart Cities projects and this year also sees the return of the much-anticipated Hull and Humber Tech Awards.

GBE Connect is encouraging local, regional and national businesses in every industry to get involved. They are hosting an event on Wednesday 9 June with more exciting announcements. You can register here to learn more.
