Yorkshire education recruitment specialist tackles school staffing crisis with ‘Get into the Classroom’ initiative

As of March 2024, figures show that one in five UK teaching assistant posts is unfilled, causing a staggering decline in school support staff. The East Riding of Yorkshire reported a vacancy rate of 19%. Principal Resourcing’s ‘Get into the Classroom’ initiative addresses this labour shortage by offering free training to become a teaching assistant or cover supervisor.
