University of Hull mounts photographic exhibition in the House of Commons

The University of Hull is delighted and honoured to have been invited to mount a photographic exhibition on the War in Ukraine, in the House of Commons. This exhibition is sponsored by Dame Diana Johnson, MP for Kingston upon Hull North, who describes it as, “a very powerful reminder of the human cost of this war”.  The exhibition will be shown in the Upper Waiting Hall of the House of Commons, from 17-22 February 2024.

Beverley Does Broadway returns with a brand new repertoire this August

Hit show ‘Beverley Does Broadway’ from East Yorkshire acclaimed company She Productions is returning to the East Riding Theatre this August, as well as, for the first time, two nights of shows at Junction, Goole, with a brand new song-list, story-line and cast. Original cast members Annie Kirkman and Alice Rose Palmer are joined by Beverley actors Caitlin Townend and Jo Patmore to bring a touch of New York show glamour to East Yorkshire.
